Putin’s power reshuffle: loyalists appointed to Moscow’s Main Police Directorate
Vladimir Putin has made major changes and appointments in law enforcement agencies.
According to Decree №620 of August 31, 2026, the following reshuffles took place
Released from posts:
— Alexey Anikin — Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for St. Petersburg;
— Nikolay Borozdin — First Deputy Prosecutor of the Stavropol Territory;
— Vitaly Vasiliev — head of the FSSP Main Directorate for the Krasnoyarsk Territory;
— Vadim Gaidov — Deputy Head of the GUOOOP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia;
— Andrey Gusev — head of the Investigative Directorate for the Kursk Region;
— Pavel Danilov — First Deputy Prosecutor of the Leningrad Region;
— Andrey Egorov — head of the Investigative Directorate for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug;
— Anatoly Kasyanenko — head of the FSSP Main Directorate for the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region;
— Sergey Kuzmin — head of the criminal investigation department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow;
— Anastasia Leletina — Deputy Director of the Department of the Ministry of Justice;
— Alexey Nazarko — head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Smolensk region;
— Sergey Savochkin — Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia;
— Dmitry Tkachenko — head of the department of professional training and educational work of the FSSP.

— Vladimir Lavrushenko — First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Moscow;
— Andrey Maslov — Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee;
— Vitaly Migaev — Deputy Head of the Department of Logistics and Medical Support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
— Vladislav Novikov — head of the Forensic Expert Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
— Oleg Paukov — Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow — Chief of Police;

— Elena Shkurina — head of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Kursk region;
